Well I just had to go and explore the AVG rave. I have come to the conclusion that AVG works better for me, although Avast is wonderful as well I do not have a preference now both are highly recommended. Avast seems to use more resources more so than AVG, AVG uses resources when it is doing a virus check which is automatic. It also seems to be checking regularly on the same schedule format which has enabled me to be ready when it clicks into gear, finished downloading beforehand. So to say that which is free on both programs I have no real qualms with either of them.
